Birth Passages     Serving Fort Collins and Northern Colorado       Home     Classes     Birth Art I offer 6-week group childbirth classes in Fort Collins and am also available for private instruction in your home on a schedule that works for you. Childbirth classes include: Learning and understanding the natural processes of labor and the hormones involved Learning how to cope with the intensity of labor using a variety of breath, relaxation, and mindfulness practices Exploring cultural and personal beliefs about birth and parenting Learning how to ask questions and advocate for yourself Practical information about labor, possible interventions, and navigating your care Preparing for the possibility of birth by Cesarean Creating your birth space Unique, multi-sensory experiences to explore your hopes, joys, fears, and emotional processes around birth A special class just for fathers and partners to help them offer thoughtful and effective support Preparing for your birth as parents and settling into your new role. Rates for group classes are $225 per couple. Rates for private classes are $300 per couple in Fort Collins and $350 per couple if I will be traveling outside of Fort Collins. No parent will be turned away due to financial issues. I will be happy to work out a payment plan that works for you! New classes begin on a regular basis.
